IN CLASS
At HCA, we are dedicated to maintaining a level of excellence in our academics. From providing small class sizes to diverse instructional strategies, we aim to help students find their God-given talents and giftings in order to use them for God’s purposes in their lives. Our curriculum is designed to build foundational understandings in reading, writing, and mathematics in order to elevate students into honors classes in high school and prepare them for success in higher education. We create an exciting and challenging learning environment, centered around promoting critical thinking/problem solving skills in math, and the sciences.
OUT OF CLASS
By starting our day with chapel every morning, we allow our students to be immersed in God’s word and develop their own personal relationship with Him. This is fostered through Bible study and verse memorization that builds them up to have a healthy understanding and love for God. Not only are we about our academics, but our extracurriculars as well! With stunning drama performances happening each semester, and interactive art, home ec. and gym classes, our students leave well-rounded and have a sense of where their talents are. We also provide opportunities for servant-hearted leadership in classrooms and community service outreaches.
